In September 2023, I found a test prep class at my local community college for Drone pilots for $49. I did not own a drone, had never flown a drone, and had no idea this was to become my latest passion project and new career!
Fast forward to November, and I took that class and then passed the FAA Part 107 small unmanned aircraft remote pilot test and am officially a licensed drone pilot, with the ability to legally offer drone photos and video for commercial use! I have a beautiful DJI Mavic 2. I call her Jenny.
I took and passed (with an A!) my first full semester college class in 30 years, beginning in September and ending mid December, in photography. This experience has pushed my photography skills farther than I could have hoped for!
As I enter the New Year 2024, I am well positioned for a new career in providing photo, video and written content for businesses in construction and real estate!
